Three Branches
The US Government is divided into three separate branches The Executive, Legislative, and Judicial Branch all work together to run the government and have a checks and balances system to make sure one side doesn't have too much power. The Executive branch chooses who goes into the Judicial Branch and can veto bills that the Legislative branch. The Legislative branch can override a presidential veto, can impeach the president with 2/3 vote, and makes the lower courts and can impeach court Justices. The Judicial Branch can declare laws made by the Legislative branch as unconstitutional and have it eradicated.
